The Shelton High School Drama Club is currently in rehearsal for its spring musical, “The Addams Family.”
The 2010 Broadway hit, based on the television show and film of the same name, features an original story.
Wednesday Addams, the princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. Her parents have never met him.
Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
Main performers in the show
The leading characters are Braeden Sagehorn as Gomez, Nicole Romeos as Morticia, Elise Sullivan as Wednesday, Melanie Byron as Pugsly, Jake Inzerra as Uncle Fester, Alex Koumbaros as Grandma, Greg Wresilo as Lucas Beineke, Lili Sierra as Alice Beineke, and Matt Lopes as Mal Beineke.
Mia Scarpa and Gary Scarpa are directing the production.
