On Saturday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m., 35 sponsored volunteers will do as many push-ups as they can in two hours in the Oak Room of the John Barone Campus Center of Fairfield University to benefit Connecticut Invention Convention K-8 programs in Bridgeport schools. Registration is at 9 a.m.
The second annual “Push for Entrepreneurship” (PFE) event has attracted “pushers” from Connecticut, New York and Western Massachusetts, as young as 17 up to 68-years-old, to raise funds for CIC’s award-winning programs in invention, innovation and entrepreneurship in four Bridgeport schools, of the 240+ served in CT by CIC.
The PFE event was founded by Michael Carter, managing director of investment banking firm Carter, Morse & Mathias of Southport.

100% of the proceeds of the PFE event will be donated to the Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC) for supporting their award-winning inventing and entrepreneurship programs in K-8 schools in Bridgeport.
The following Bridgeport schools have registered with CIC for participation this year:
- Park City Magnet School, 1526 Chopsey Hill Road, Bridgeport, CT 06606
