On Sunday, April 24, the Shelton Public Schools will be hosting a Shelton Education Endowment Fund Run/Walk for Education. All net proceeds from the race will benefit SEEF which was established in 2011 as a non-profit component fund of the Valley Community Foundation and is committed to improving education in the City of Shelton.
The 5K race will begin and end at Shelton High School’s Finn Stadium. Walkers and all age groups are welcome. There will be a shorter Student Run/Walk following the 5K. This race will not only be a fundraiser for SEEF’s multiple awards, but will also be an opportunity for adults and students at every grade level to join in a community event that promotes health and well-being. Participants can register at www.Hitekracing.com.
